ECO Pro Tec Iron Stain Away
Acid based cleaner for the removal of rust out breaks within ferrous hardstones. Also removes cement and mortar stains. Natural stones often contain traces of Iron, which may oxidise when they come into contact with moisture either from rain or cleaning. It can also occur when stone comes into contact with certain acid-based cleaners that contain ingredients that can accelerate the oxidisation process.
Suitable for use on acid resistant natural stones including granites and slates. Not suitable for highly polished natural stone. T

Application: SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Preparation: Ensure that the surface to be treated is cool and completely free from loose matter before application. Always test on an inconspicuous area prior to general use.
Extremely severe cases use un-diluted . Severe cases dilute 1:2with water.
Mild cases dilute 1:3 with water. Apply the solution to the surface and spread out evenly, garden sprayers can be used.
For severe cases surfaces should be agitated using a short haired scrubbing brush or black nylon scrubbing pad. After 3–6 hours, rinse with plenty of clean water. If traces remain after a couple of days repeat the process. After treatment the surface should be protected from water.
Further treatment: Sealing with an impregnating sealer such as ECOPROTEC Ultimate Sealer, ECOPROTEC Patio Sealer or ECOPROTEC Colour Enhancing Sealer will help to render the surface resistant to water penetration, greatly reducing the possibility of rust discolouration from returning
Suitability
Suitable for use on acid resistant natural stones including granites and slates. Not suitable for highly polished natural stone. The effect is limited on rough &textured limestone and marble.
